Another hot and muggy day running into a hot and muggy evening. There are times when I don't mind being sweaty and sticky but there is something so wrong about sweating while lying still under a fan.

This evening we had ground beef stroganoff on rice, caesar salad, and fruit salad.

Stroganoff recipe: 1lb ground beef, one finely chopped onion, 1 lb. sliced mushrooms, 1-2 Tablespoons olive oil, 1/4 cup tomato sauce, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1/2 cup sour cream, paprika, salt, pepper. Cook mushrooms and onions in olive oil until soft. Brown beef over medium low heat. Add garlic and paprika to beef for the last few minutes of cooking. Stir the tomato sauce and sour cream into the meat, add mushrooms and onions, seson to taste. Serve over rice or noodles.
